Hello,
I am Ben Boyd, a university student attending the University of Sunderland studying Journalism and i’m in my final year. Being from the UK and raised in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area, growing up I supported Newcastle United, and I have always been football-mad.
I’ve found myself getting increasingly disenchanted with English football and the German game has always intrigued me to the point that I want to write all about it and make a career out of writing all about it! Hopefully I can shed some further light on the beautiful game in Germany, for an English speaking readership.
The Germans Always Win is a site dedicated to the wonders of German football, from the most legendary clubs and figures, stadia and fanbases to the forgotten clubs and history. With TGAW I hope to capture the brilliance of German football and have it resonate with a readership that loves it as much as me.
After all, the ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes, everything else is pure theory…
